Bio
The RobCo. classic design, Mr. Handy is a pre-war domestic robot, designed for household chores and maintenance. They often possess a polite and helpful demeanor, reflecting their pre-war programming, often with a charmingly outdated formality, surmised perfectly with their synthesised British butler themed voice. Their multi-limbed design and versatile tools make the Mr. Handy model adept at a wide range of household tasks, though its combat capabilities are surprisingly robust, a testament to their durable construction and adaptable toolsets. This duality, between gentle servant and surprisingly effective combatant, is a recurring theme. In the post-apocalyptic wasteland, Mister Handy robots can be found in various states of repair, performing their original functions or adapted for new roles, sometimes to bizarre or unsettling effect. They can be friendly companions, helpful assistants, or hostile adversaries, depending on their programming and condition, often corrupted by time, radiation, or malicious reprogramming. Their iconic spherical chassis, coupled with the whirring of their internal mechanisms and the distinct cadence of their synthesized voices, makes them instantly recognizable symbols of the lost pre-war world, and a frequent reminder of the technological marvels that were lost.
