Abilities

Tunneler: The Mole Rat can burrow through solid rock at half its burrow speed and leaves a 10-foot-diameter tunnel in its wake.

Ambush Predator: If the mole rat hits with an attack after moving using its burrow speed, it can disengage as a bonus action.

Keen Smell: The Mole Rat has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Pack Tactics: The Mole Rat has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the Mole Rat's allies is within 5 ft. of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Actions

Bite: Melee weapon attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.

Reactions

Dig: After recieving damage, the Mole Rat will burrow deep under the ground. Upon the start of its next turn it must burrow its full distance towards whoever attacked it, so long as wherever the Mole Rate reappears isn't dangerous or blocked to the Mole Rat. Remember they can burrow under walls, etc.

Bio
Before the Great War, the common mole rat was a relatively unremarkable subterranean rodent. Their unique adaptations, such as their large, protruding incisors for digging and their near-blindness, allowed them to thrive in their harsh, underground environments. The detonation of nuclear devices in 2077 radically altered the world's ecosystems, including the genetic makeup of countless species. Mole rats, being subterranean creatures, were exposed to high levels of radiation, leading to rapid and dramatic mutations. These mutations resulted in significant increases in size, aggression, and resilience. Notably, their already formidable teeth grew larger and sharper, and their senses, while still primarily olfactory, became more attuned to detecting vibrations and movement.
